1) Adoption Criteria

  • Adopters must live within 25-30 miles of Coulsdon, Surrey (postcode area CR5). If you live more than 30 miles from us and are looking for a domestic cat or kitten, please look on catchat.org for rescues nearer to your home.

  • Never have been banned from keeping animals in any country.
  • Adopters must have permission from their landlord if they live in rented accommodation.
  • We do not rehome with children under 3 years old.

  • Nervous or disabled kittens can be indoor.

2) Search and Enquire

3) Matching

  • We are committed to matching each cat’s and kitten’s needs with the right home. We will review your form and get in touch to discuss your adoption enquiry.

  • Adopters will require a home check before adopting cats and kittens.

4) Adoption

  • Once matched, all adoptions are subject to a home check and a minimum donation of £100 per cat or £130 per kitten.

  • You will need to sign and agree to the terms in our adoption agreement.​

On leaving our care:​​

  • Cats and kittens are flea and worm treated.
  • All kittens are chipped from 9 weeks old and start their vaccinations. All cats and kittens over 4 months are chipped, neutered and covered to have full vaccinations by the charity at Anwell vet. All adopters sign an adoption agreement which confirms that kittens adopted under the age of 4 months must be neutered by adopter.
